This week on Xbox Live… 'Alien Breed'!

Another retro throwback lands on Live Arcade this week with the return of Alien Breed.
Games
Alien Breed Evolution: Based on Team 17's classic horror shooter from the Amiga, this is the first of three episodic overhead shooters. Explore an alien-infested ship alone or play through a dedicated co-operative mode. You can view a trailer of the game here, as well as our hands-on impressions here. Download it for 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80).
Also available is Puzzlegeddon, a puzzle game with real time strategy elements, released on PC late last year. You can download it for 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80).
Demos
Vancouver 2010: Download a taster of the official game for the 2010 Winter Olympics. We recently went hands-on with the game, and although it's as difficult as Beijing was, the stunning visuals and sheer variety of events makes this worth looking into. This demo includes the men's Super-G event. The final game is released January 15.
Track Packs
Rock Band: Delayed from last week, Green Day releases a few more songs for the Rock Band store, this time from 21st Century Breakdown. Singles are 160 Microsoft Points (99p) while the pack is 400 Microsoft Points (£3.40).
Green Day Pack 02: 'Christian's Inferno', 'Last Of The American Girls', 'Viva La Gloria'
30 Seconds To Mars: 'This Is War', 'Kings & Queens'
All-American Rejects: 'Gives You Hell'
Games On Demand
You can now download Viva Pinata: Party Animals to hard drives for £19.99. A manual can be found on the official Xbox website.
Deal of the Week
This week's Deal of the Week is a discounted Coldplay track pack for Lips, now at 240 Microsoft Points (£2.05) until Monday.
Games For Windows Live
Although not strictly related to the Xbox 360, Games For Windows Live now offers downloadable titles, much like the Games On Demand service. It launches with a free downloadable puzzle title, Tinker, which also offers 200 gamerscore for your Xbox Live account. It's available from today.
