This week on PSN… 'Peggle'!

After last week's stunning array of releases, we get Peggle, a Yakuza 3 demo and sizeable dollops of downloadable content for some of the biggest releases of the past 12 months. Rejoice!

Games

Peggle: PopCap's treasured pachinko game finally arrives on PSN. Heralded by casual and hardcore audiences alike, the aim is to score as many points as possible by firing a ball into a screen filled with pegs, which will ratchet around the screen notching up points and a whole manner of multipliers. Dozens of screens, a range of characters with unique power-ups and a host of online options make this highly recommended. Download it for £6.29.

Also available is Revenge Of The Wounded Dragons, a side-scrolling brawler with local online play for £6.29.

Demos

Yakuza 3: Set for release on March 12, this features a series of side-missions from the Okinawa area of the game, along with a variety of combat scenarios and two boss encounters. Like the full game itself, it'll feature English subtitles with Japanese dialogue, so give it a spin and see what you think.

Also available are demos for Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing and Digger HD.

Downloadable Content

Resident Evil 5: Desperate Escape / Lost In Nightmares: Capcom's action-adventure marches on with two new downloadable episodes, almost a year after release. Lost In Nightmares has you play as Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine as you infiltrate the Spensor Mansion, giving the game a return to its survival horror roots, while Desperate Escape follows Josh Stone and Jill Valentine as they assist Chris and Sheva from behind the scenes. The episodes offer an hour of gameplay for £3.99 each. There is also Costume Pack 1 for £1.59.

Also available is a Bonfire Of The Vanities for Assassin's Creed II at £3.19, the Complete DLC bundle for Burnout Paradise at £15.99 (or together with the game for £23.99), the Hoth Mission pack for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for £7.99, a National Geographic Kids Quiz for Buzz! at £6.29, a free Saiyans pack for Dragon Ball: Raging Beast and the Florentine Dante Costume for Dante's Inferno at £1.59.
