This week on VC... 'Rondo Of Blood'!

The Hanabi Festival continues with another two import releases, while both WiiWare and DSiWare have two weird and wonderful headlining titles.
Virtual Console
Castlevania: Rondo Of Blood: Originally released for Turbografx in Japan, this has seen several ports and remakes over the years, but none of them quite like the original. It lacks the Metroidvania progression of the later games, but offers branching paths in its side-scrolling stages. It's easily one of the better 'original' Castlevania games, and can be downloaded for 900 Nintendo Points (£6.30).
Also available is Milon's Secret Castle for the NES, a rather challenging action-adventure title only released in Japan. Download it for 600 Nintendo Points (£5.20).
WiiWare
Muscle March: This is as Japanese as they come: playing as a team of bodybuilders, you have to chase down a stolen protein shake and bring its thieves to justice. The game basically has you smashing through walls and posing, and has multiplayer for up to four people. Download it for 500 Nintendo Points (£3.50).
DSiWare
Photo Dojo: This fighter allows you to create your own characters using the camera. Let your friends pose in the template outlines, then record a sound bite, customise their projectile and let them fight it out. It's a rather fantastic use of the DSi features, and is only 200 Nintendo Points (£1.40).
Also available is light application Flashlight for 200 Nintendo Points (£1.40), storybook Flips: The Enchanted Wood for 500 Nintendo Points (£3.50), GTA clone Car Jack Streets for 800 Nintendo Points (£5.60) and tower defence title Libera Wing for 800 Nintendo Points (£5.60).
