This week on Virtual Console… 'Kirby Fun Pak'!

An interesting Kirby compilation arrives on Virtual Console while DSiWare receives yet another Gameloft iPhone game.

Virtual Console

Kirby Fun Pak: Known as Kirby Super Star in North America (and Kirby Super Star Ultra in a later remake for DS), this is essentially a collection of different platforming adventures. While they all adopt the same Kirby mechanics, each game has a different story and theme, such as exploration, racing against the clock or facing bosses. It's a unique SNES title for 800 Nintendo Points (£5.60).

WiiWare

Art Style: PENTA TENTACLES: Similar to flOw, you play as a small organism that absorbs smaller beings with its coloured tentacles. You have to match the organism with the correct coloured tentacle to grow, otherwise it incurs damage and will shrink in size. You can play with either the Wii remote or the Classic Controller. Download it for 600 Nintendo Points (£4.20).

Also available is survival strategy title Lead The Meerkats for 1000 Nintendo Points (£7), and tile-based puzzle game Voodoo Dice for 1000 Nintendo Points (£7).

DSiWare

Hero Of Sparta: Gameloft's God Of War-inspired iPhone adventure drops on DSiWare this week. It's essentially a 3D brawler with mythological foes and bosses. Download it for 800 Nintendo Points (£5.60).

Also available is balloon-popping puzzler Bloons for 500 Nintendo Points (£3.50), narrative storybook Flips: The Magic Faraway Tree for 500 Nintendo Points (£3.50), karaoke title Just Sing! National Anthems for 200 Nintendo Points (£1.40) and Picross clone Animal Colour Cross for 500 Nintendo Points (£3.50).
