A slow week for mobile games, but at least we see the re-release of an atmospheric 16-bit platformer, as well as the concluding entry in an amusing adventure series.

What is it?: Releasing in time for the original's 20th anniversary, this port of an Amiga platforming classic features original and high resolution visuals optimised for iPhone 4 and iPad, two control methods and three difficulty settings.

Hector: Episode 3 - Beyond Reasonable Doom

Platforms: iPhone
Cost: £2.99 / $4.99
What is it?: This is the third and final chapter in this point-and-click adventure series by Telltale Games, which focuses on a hard-nosed detective solving crimes in Clappers Wreake, the crime capital of England. You can download the other parts in the series on iPhone for £2.99 / $4.99 each, with iPad and PC / Mac releases expected soon.
