A varied offering this week, with big racing, football and dancing releases, as well as new entries in the Ace Combat and Spyro franchises.
Forza Motorsport 4
Release date: October 11 (North America), October 14 (Europe)
Platforms: Xbox 360
Forza 4 offers a significant update for the long-running Xbox franchise. Players can take hundreds of cars to the track, or stick to a trusted one or two through the course of a reactive campaign that allows you to play how you like. Elsewhere, Kinect functionality allows players to race without a controller and view cars up close with the AutoVista mode, while Forza 3 players will be able to import their saves to keep their customisations and add bonus credits.

PES 2012
Release date: September 27 (North America), October 14 (Europe)
Platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC
PES 2012 sees an overhaul to the game's AI engine and a renewed focus on attacking play. Teammates will offer better support in one-on-one situations, making dummy runs to draw away opposing defenders and force them into mistakes, while defending play, animations and tactical options are revamped.

Just Dance 3
Release date: October 11 (North America), October 14 (Europe)

Overwhelmingly successful Wii chart topper Just Dance makes its high-definition debut this year, bringing its brightly-coloured flavour of dance to Kinect.
