Mobile Games Round-Up: 'Scribblenauts Remix'

This week sees the release of one of the Nintendo DS's most groundbreaking titles on iOS devices, as well as an Xperia Play exclusive.
Scribblenauts Remix
Platforms: iPhone, iPad
Cost: £2.99 / $4.99
What is it?: A mobile version of the inventive Nintendo DS puzzle-platformer, Scribblenauts Remix allows you to summon practically any object or creature that comes to mind by simply typing it into the on-screen keyboard. Puzzles have multiple solutions providing extended replayability, and this iOS edition features ten exclusive new stages, Game Centre support and iCloud save transfers for multiple devices.

Sleepy Jack
Platforms: Xperia Play
Cost: £2.99 / $4.99
What is it?: From the creator of Cordy, Sleepy Jack is a superb looking arcade title where players guide a sleeping child through vivid courses. Around 30 stages are included, with themes such as shooting, speed runs and musical types. Sleepy Jack

Roll in the Hole
Platforms: iPhone, iPad
Cost: 69p / $1 (iPhone), £1.99 / $2.99 (iPad)
What is it?: Chillingo releases yet another enjoyable puzzle-action title. Guide the chubby panda through each stage to reach the warp hole at the end and pick up ice cream along the way. Thanks to smart level design and some gravity defying mechanics later in the game, Roll in the Hole is a surprisingly challenging title.
