Batman: Arkham City is a natural headliner for this week's release line-up but there are a few other corkers in there too, such as the latest Football Manager release, a follow-up to the most critically acclaimed Kinect title in Dance Central 2, and the video game tie-in for Adventures of Tintin: The Secrets of the Unicorn.
Batman: Arkham City
Release date: October 18 (North America), October 21 (Europe)
Platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, OnLive
Rocksteady's surprise hit grows in size and scope for the sequel. Arkham has extended to the city itself, paving the way for an open environment to explore and fight in. The enemy roster has been expanded to include the likes of Penguin, Mr. Freeze and Bane, while Catwoman has been introduced as a playable character. And for those who want to keep playing, Batman: Arkham City also offers a New Game Plus option for multiple playthroughs.

The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is Ubisoft's accompaniment to the upcoming movie about the famous ginger-quiffed hero. Dance Central 2
Release date: October 21 (Europe), October 25 (North America)
Platforms: Xbox 360
Kinect's best-selling dance title ups the ante with a sequel that offers a number of significant advances. The biggest is a full campaign, seeing dance crews face off against each other, while there's full simultaneous two-player with full body tracking. Dance Central 2 also includes true jump-in, jump-out play so a friend can enter mid-track without pausing. Elsewhere, there are 40 diverse new tracks, and the original's full listing and DLC can all be imported too.
