Games out this week: 'Kinect Star Wars', 'Rhythm Thief', 'I Am Alive'

April starts off strong with a blockbuster Kinect title, the PSN release of I Am Alive and a new 3DS release from Sega.

Kinect Star Wars

Release date: April 3 (worldwide)
Platforms: Xbox 360

Kinect Star Wars features a number of game modes, including podracing, rampaging around like a Rancor, a dancing mode and wielding a lightsaber in a Jedi adventure, complete with duels against iconic Star Wars villains.

I Am Alive

Release date: April 4 (Europe), April 3 (North America)
Platforms: PSN (already available on Xbox Live)

I Am Alive is a post-apocalyptic title that sees a father make his way through a devastated US city in search of his family. An adventure game with a survival twist, climbing and exploration uses up stamina, while combat has you take on enemies with limited ammo, relying on surprise attacks and bluffing your way past with an empty chamber.

Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure

Release date: April 5 (Europe), March 31 (North America)
Platforms: 3DS

Honourable thief Raphael searches the Parisian streets for a treasure known as the Wristlet of Tiamat to solve the mystery behind his father's disappearance. This handheld rhythm game has players deploy stylus taps, swipes and gyroscope movements to manoeuvre through Paris, pulling off various heists.
