Games out this week: 'FIFA 13', 'Mists of Pandaria', 'Family Guy'

September goes out on a high with a sequel to Dead or Alive and a Family Guy game. Oh, and also little known franchises FIFA and World of Warcraft are getting new updates this week.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria

Release date: September 25 (worldwide)
Platforms: PC, Mac

The fourth add-on adds a new playable race named the Pandaren with its own starting zones and quests, the monk character class, a new continent with a level cap of 90, challenge modes and a pet battle system.

Dead or Alive 5

Release date: September 28 (Europe), September 25 (North America)
Platforms: Xbox 360, PS3

The latest in the long-running fighting series is the first to be developed without the input of series creator Tomonobu Itagaki, and offers new modes and an expanded cast of characters, including guest fighters such as Virtua Fighter 5's Akira Yuki and Sarah Brayant.


FIFA 13

Release date: September 28 (Europe), September 25 (North America)
Platforms: Xbox 360, PS3, PC

This year's FIFA adds new first-touch techniques, improved AI, skill games and Kinect and Move features. Elsewhere, it will also directly tie in with footballing events in the real world through a feature called Match Day.

Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse

Release date: September 28 (Europe), September 25 (North America)
Platforms: Xbox 360, PS3, PC

Back to the Multiverse sees players use Brian and Stewie's unique abilities to stop evil brother Bertram from destroying Quahog. It will feature members of the voice cast and writing team, and feature several multiplayer and co-operative modes.
