Users who download and play the casino-style mini-games will then be able to transfer all gold earned in the pub games to the world of Fable II.
The pub games, which will consist of Craps, Roulette, slot machines and a luck-style game entitled Fortune's Tower, will be available as a free download via Xbox Live Arcade.
Microsoft and Lionhead have also announced plans to release a limited collector's edition of Fable II for $79.99 (£41), which will include a bonus disc with behind-the-scenes making-of video, collectible Hobbe figure, a Live trail card and additional in-game content (for those with access to Xbox Live).
The sequel to the original three-million selling game, Fable II is an action RPG set 500 years after Fable. As part of the game, players will have the option to play as a man or woman, get married, have children, and live a life of their own design.
Fable II is scheduled for release this winter on Xbox 360.
