EA said the as-yet-unamed series, which will be released first on Wii before launching on other platforms, will be the only title to feature the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
Speaking at the Leipzig Games Convention, company president Peter Moore said the title will offer "innovative ways to play, both as or against the greatest players from the past or present".
The game is scheduled for release next year.
