'FIFA 09' to mirror real world player form
Published Wednesday, Aug 20 2008, 17:24 BST | By David Gibbon

The new feature, entitled Live Season, will see the form of in-game players alter on a weekly basis, meaning each match will play differently.
Live Season, which will work for the Barclay's Premier League, La Liga BBVA, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A and Mexican Primera Division on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, will dynamically alter the performances of players and teams based on weekly downloadable data from their most recent real-world matches.
"The game will feel and play differently each week. With Adidas Live Season, if Ronaldinho has a great match on the weekend you’ll feel the difference when you pick up the controller as his in-game attributes increase," said Andrew Wilson, vice president for the franchise.
FIFA 09 will be released for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PC, DS, PSP and Mobile on October 3.
A downloadable demo will be available on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on September 11.
