Leipzig: Sony unveils free PS3 music videos
Sony has announced that a free streaming music video service for its PlayStation 3 console will launch early next year.

During its press conference at the Leipzig Games Convention, Sony revealed that VidZone will allow users to watch free music videos on their PS3 or stream them to a PSP via Remote Play.

Users will also be able to build their own playlists and personalise their VidZone experience. In addition, they will also have the option to download songs, music videos and ringtones to a mobile phone for "a small charge".

The Japanese electronics giant also confirmed it plans to launch a "comprehensive" film, TV and music download service at a later date.
