Microsoft plans 'Halo 4' development

Gearbox, who has also worked on six games in the Half-Life series, is reported to have "definitely" had conversations with Microsoft about the project.
The firm, according to Variety, is said to be "very excited" at the prospect of developing Halo 4.
Microsoft began searching for a new developer after its previous team Bungie left to work on other projects last October.
