PS3 news and weather service 'delayed'
Sony has said its PlayStation 3 news and weather service has been delayed again after originally stating that it would launch in July.

Spokesman Noam Rimon said Life with PlayStation will feed "live content to your PS3 with updates on news and weather on a visually stunning and interactive global map".

Although it was due to launch in July, the date was moved to August and has now been put back again.

Rimon revealed: "We're still pushing some paperwork on Life with PlayStation - so hold tight just a bit longer."

However, he confirmed that the service will be free, adding: "We're going to offer this as a free service that will be easily accessible directly from the XMB."

Sony has yet to announce a new date for the release of Life with PlayStation.
