PSP-3000 will have shorter battery life
Sony's successor to the PlayStation Portable will have a shorter battery life than the curent model, according to the firm's marketing director.

John Koller told GameSpot: "Battery life will decrease by a small amount; it's material, but it's about 20 minutes, maybe 30 minutes.

"And that's because there's a little bit of a larger power draw with the brighter screen.”

The new PSP-3000, which will boast a more advanced LCD screen and a built-in microphone, will launch on October 15 for £149.99.
