'Rings' MMO 'destined for success'
The executive producer of the Massively Multiplayer Online game Lord Of The Rings has said he believes the title is "most likely to achieve mass-market success".

Jeffrey Steefel claims the title could be as successful as Blizzard's World Of Warcraft, currently the world's most popular online RPG with over 10 million subscribers.

"There's another level of success, which is reaching a certain mass-market critical mass, which to be totally fair, only Blizzard has achieved completely so far," Steefel told Eurogamer.

"We think that we are the game that has the most likelihood of being the second to do that, but we're not there yet."
