Microsoft has announced a price cut for a number of downloadable expansion packs on Xbox Live Marketplace.

The Extended Day Download Days promotion allows customers to receive up to 60% off some content, including Guitar Hero song packs and The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles expansion.

Other titles featuring in the promotion include Forza, Lost Odyssey and Mass Effect.

The promotion, which will last until the end of October, follows Microsoft’s announcement that the 360 will see its price drop in the US and Japan.
