New 'Phantasy Star' announced for DS

Phantasy Star Zero is a new adventure in Sega's RPG franchise.
According to Japanese magazine Famitsu, the game will feature online elements and a touch-screen writing system for communicating with other players.
The series is popular in Japan, with the PSP release of Phantasy Star Portable shipping over 500,000 copies in its opening week in July.
The game is scheduled for release in Japan by the end of the year.
