Xbox 360 outsells the Wii in Japan
Microsoft's Xbox 360 has outsold the Wii in Japan by a thousand units, according to a weekly sales report from Enterbrain.

The 360 sold 28,681 units, the Wii sold 27,057 units and the PS3 managed 8045 units in the week ending September 14.

The increase in 360 sales have been attributed to the release of Square-Enix's Infinite Discovery as well as price cuts on all Xbox models.

The 360 has now sold 717,275 units in Japan.
