'Prince Of Persia' release date set

Ubisoft has announced the release date for the first major instalment of its Prince Of Persia franchise since 2005.
The Prince’s first outing on current generation formats will land in US stores on December 2, followed by the Middle East, Africa and continental Europe on December 4, with UK gamers having to wait until December 5 to get their hands on it.
With 2005’s Prince Of Persia: The Two Thrones having brought the curtain down on the Sands Of Time trilogy, the new game will serve as a reboot for the series. Featuring an all-new Prince, a new artistic style and reinvented gameplay mechanics, the title was well-received when it was previewed at the Leipzig Games Convention earlier this year.
The game will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, with a separate version arriving on the Nintendo DS in the holiday season.
