Eidos Interactive (EI) has expanded its operation into Asia, founding an office in Shanghai, China.
The firm behind the Tomb Raider and Championship Manager games established Eidos Shanghai to aid its studio's outsourcing opportunities.
A skeleton staff comprising experts in game design, production and art direction currently operates under Christine Thaarup, EI’s worldwide studio outsourcing manager and former producer at its Denmark-based studio.
Thaarup is keen to work with "the very best partners" in the Chinese market in a bid to accelerate the studio's outsourced development through expansion.
"There is incredible talent here in China; we are lucky to already be working with some of them and are looking forward to growing these and new relationships," she added.
