The "super bundle" package, available from any retailer priced £150, comes with the game, guitar controller, drums and microphone, with a bass guitar pad worth £50 thrown in for free.
Activision is hoping to gain more ground on its competitor MTV’s Rock Band, which Guitar Hero is reportedly outselling six to one.
"This is a significant investment to reward our loyal fans, ensuring the full band experience is available from the off," Activision's UK marketing director David Tyler told MCV.
"With demand likely to far outstrip supply, pre-ordering is the only way to assure a copy at launch."
