Massive 'LA Noire' budget revealed
Rockstar's LA Noire is one of the biggest budget games currently in development, an expert has revealed.

The film noir-inspired crime caper is being published by Rockstar but developed by the Australia-based Team Bondi.

Tom Cargo, president of the Game Developer's Association of Australia, indicated the size of LA Noire's budget while giving an appraisal of Australian game development at CG Asia 2008.

He said that in terms of the biggest budget console titles, LA Noire must be in the top ten and added that it is a "massive, massive project", reports IGN.

He also revealed that the game probably has "another year or so to go" and hinted that it will no longer be a PS3 exclusive but will also be released on Xbox 360.

A teaser trailer for the game was first issued in October 2006, but few other details have since been released by Rockstar or Team Bondi.
