Avid Duke Nukem 3D fans who soldiered through the Xbox Live Arcade re-release of the game, unlocking all of its special features, have been treated to two screenshots of Duke Nukem Forever.
3D Realms's Duke Nukem Forever has been stuck in development hell since the late 1990s when the sequel was first announced, leading gamers to believe that it will never see the light of day.
Although the hidden screenshots may not be enough to renew hopes that the ill-fated game may one day emerge, it is seen by fans as an incentive to play the original through to the end.
