'FIFA' release sparks price war
EA’s FIFA 09 has sparked a price war among retailers following its release earlier today.

Supermarket chain Tesco slashed the price of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the football sim to just £29.71, with rivals Asda charging £32.

Both offers are expected to expire after the weekend.

DVD rental chain Blockbuster is selling the game at the slightly higher price of £34.99, but is offering a free football and £5 off any other title.

Toys R Us is bundling the game with every Xbox 360 and PS3 sold, as well as throwing in a free Adidas Finale football worth £14.99.
