THQ and Player One sign distribution deal

THQ has revealed a long-term agreement with UK sports games publisher Player One to distribute its mobile games worldwide.
As part of the agreement, subsidiary company THQ Wireless will expand its catalogue of mobile sports titles, with Pool Star: Atlantic City, Phil Taylor's Power Darts 2008 and Poker Million: The Masters all on the way.
"Working with THQ Wireless's top-tier global distribution expertise represents a significant opportunity to grow the mobile audience for Player One Sports' games," said Player One's managing director Pete Russell.
Adam Comiskey, vice-president of THQ Wireless added: "Player One Sports' games on mobile have always been critically acclaimed and equally loved by mobile consumers everywhere. THQ Wireless is delighted to be able to offer this exceptional portfolio of unique games to carriers worldwide."
