The Latin American stars' likenesses will also appear in the game.
Taking its commitment to the region a step further, Konami also confirmed that renowned Mexican commentators Luis Garcia and Christian Martinoli will voice the game's Spanish commentary.
"The Latin population in Mexico, the United States and throughout the rest of the world is among the most fervent in its support of the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise," said Anthony Crouts, vice president of marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.
"It is extremely important that we recognise their loyalty by incorporating the soccer talent they know and love. With Guardado, Garcia and Martinoli, PES '09 will provide Latin fans the closest experience they can have to actually playing in the stadiums."
PES '09 is released on November 11 for PS3, PS2, PSP, PC and Xbox 360, with a Wii version expected early next year.
