Silicon Knights lays off 26 staff

Over two dozen staff have been dismissed from Silicon Knights, developer of Xbox 360 RPG Too Human.
The 26 staff found out yesterday morning but were ensured that it was only temporary. It is understood they were all additional staff employed in the last 12 months.
In a statement to Kotaku, President Denis Dyack explained: "These 26 individuals are hard-working and valued team members that we hope to bring back as we ramp up on our future projects."
Silicon Knights released Too Human this summer, and is known for partnering with Nintendo for Eternal Darkness and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. It is believed to be developing the sequel to Too Human.
The Canadian-based developer employs over 180 people.
