Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City and the Wii Speak Channel will be released on December 5, Nintendo has announced.
Animal Crossing... is the latest in the series of community games where players live in a town and engage in social activities with neighbours, such as creating clothing and sending letters.
As part of its online features, it comes packaged with the Wii Speak microphone that allows four people to talk with people worldwide.
A devoted Wii Speak Channel will be released on the same day allowing voice, text and picture messaging with other players through Mii avatars.
It is not known if the software will be included with the game or is download only, or whether the Wii Speak peripheral can be purchased separately.
