Microsoft reveals Xbox storage plans
Microsoft has revealed new plans to ensure that all Xbox 360 owners have sufficient storage capacity to access the new dashboard upgrade, reports MCV.

The new Xbox Experience firmware upgrade, available from November 19, features a Wii-style avatar system, additional on-demand HD entertainment and improvements to loading times on certain titles.

However, users will require 128Mb of available storage space to attain the upgrade, potentially excluding Xbox 360 Arcade or Core owners who have not already purchased a hard drive.

Microsoft is offering consumers the chance to get a console memory upgrade by visiting www.xboxstorageupgrade.com and inputting their console serial number and ID.

Gamers are then given the option to either acquire a 512Mb memory card for free or to purchase a refurbished 20GB hard drive for £12.99.
