'PES 2008'
Asda has confirmed that it will be selling the 360 and PS3 versions of Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 for £27.
Asda will also be giving away a copy of the PS3 version of PES 2009 with every PS3 console bought.
Tesco will be selling the game for £34.71, while Blockbuster will price it at £34.99, but with a free football.
The release of FIFA 09 saw a full-blown price war emerge after Morrisons sold the game for £25, although no similar plans are in place for PES.
PES 2009 is released for the 360 and PS3 on October 17.
