The BBFC has confirmed that 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand will be published by THQ after classifying the title for release.
The gangster rapper sequel has been the subject of long-running speculation after appearing on Vivendi's release slate, only to end up a casualty of the company's merger with Activision, which created Activision Blizzard.
The title was thought to be dead until rumours of THQ's involvement emerged last week, when the publisher's name appeared alongside the title in the Australian government’s entertainment classification database.
The game, set for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, received an 18 rating from the BBFC.
