Thousands of Rage wireless Wii guitars have been recalled in the US after a user suffered chemical burns.
The Rage wireless guitars are manufactured in China, but contained faulty circuit boards causing the batteries to leak.
Performance Designed Products, the company behind the guitars, estimates that 57,000 have been sold and owners have been advised to return them to stores for a full refund.
PDP recently expanded its operations to the UK after buying the motion sensor firm In2games, makers of the Gametrack products.
