Microsoft's NXE dashboard update leaked

Microsoft's 'New Xbox Experience' (NXE) dashboard update has been leaked onto torrent sites more than two weeks prior to its official release.

The update allows users to create avatars similar to Nintendo's Miis, as well as offering eight-person online chat, image sharing, plus the option to load games straight onto a hard drive.

Microsoft warned users that any unregistered console using the NXE Update will be disconnected from Xbox live until the official release date, which is still scheduled for November 19.
