Japanese PS3 sales at all-time low
Sales of the PS3 have slumped to an all-time low in Japan, with the 360 continuing to outsell its rival.

According to figures from Media Create, the PS3 sold 3931 units in the week ending October 26, the lowest number since its launch in 2006.

The Xbox 360 almost doubled its rival's sales with 7,844 consoles shifted, narrowly beating the PS2, which sold 6,962.

Sony's fortunes were helped by the latest incarnation of the PSP, which sold 60,467 units compared to the DS's 22,965.

The Wii continues to dominate the home entertainment systems market with sales of 24,292.
