Activision: PS3 growth to outpace Xbox

Speaking to Game Daily, the firm's chief executive Mike Griffith said the Xbox 360 is widely expected to shift another six or seven million units by the end of the calendar year.
However, he predicted that the PS3 will post stronger growth, selling in the region of eight million units.
Nintendo's Wii console will continue to post the strongest growth, with Griffith indicating that a further 15 million units could be sold during the last two months of the year.
He also suggested that 24 million handheld consoles will be purchased in the run up to the Christmas period, but did not break the figure down between Sony's PSP and Nintendo's DS.
