The keypad, originally unveiled at the Leipzig Games Convention during August, attaches to Duelshock 3 and Siaxxis controllers and is used for chat with other PS3 owners.
The device enables users to compose and send messages to fellow online players, as well as type in-game texts.
It also features a laptop-style touchpad to be used with the PS3 web browser, alongside shortcut buttons to access communication and message boxes.
