'King Of Fighters XII' heads to the West

King Of Fighters XII will be released in Europe and North America, publisher Ignition Entertainment has announced.
The title, which will hit Japanese arcades next year, marks the first new entry in SNK’s flagship beat-em-up series since 2005. Unlike Capcom’s Street Fighter IV, the series will remain in 2-D, with developers creating 3-D models and using them as a basis for traditional ‘hand-drawn’ pixel art.
An official release date, platforms and new features are yet to be announced.
