Kojima receives lifetime achievement award

Hideo Kojima was presented the award by Jade Raymond, producer of Assassin's Creed, and was the first recipient of the honour.
In his speech, he explained: "I have to say, even though I received this award, let me state that I will not retire. I will continue to create games as long as I live."
Other winners include Grand Theft Auto IV for Game of the Year and Guitar Hero III for Best Party Game.
