Details of 'Fallout 3' expansions revealed
Published Thursday, Nov 27 2008, 04:28 GMT | By Matthew Reynolds

In January, Operation: Anchorage will recreate a key Fallout battle set in Alaska, while a new town will be added in The Pitt Journey in February. March will see the Broken Steel expansion, which continues the adventure past the story ending.
A creation kit, allowing players to edit anything in the game and create their own missions, will be exclusive to the Games for Windows version. It will be available for free in December.
Kotaku quotes Fallout 3 game director Todd Howard as saying: "We've always seen the original world of Fallout 3 as a foundation for even more content. Some created by us, and a lot more created by users… we can't wait to see what the community does with the G.E.C.K (Garden of Eden Creation Kit)."
Prices for the three expansions are yet to be announced.
