According to Game Informer, the sequel will be titled Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and will base its story on the legacy of 13th century explorer Marco Polo.
A teaser trailer for the new title on Game Trailers depicts a roughed-up Nathan Drake walking across a snowy wilderness to grab a mysterious, jeweled dagger from the ice.
The trailer also indicates that the game will receive its 'world premiere' during the 2008 SpikeTV Video Game Awards on December 14.
