Hints towards a new game in the Metal Gear series have appeared on Konami’s website.
The flash page features the company logo, followed by three symbols - an inverted exclamation mark, a normal exclamation mark, and a power symbol. Underneath is the text ‘A new Metal Gear is…’
Despite the lack of information, the neon green and power symbol suggest that it will feature on Xbox 360.
Additionally, the URL of the page features 'mgst', possibly short for Metal Gear Solid Teaser, despite the Metal Gear Solid series apparently finishing with this year’s Guns Of The Patriots.
Although creator Hideo Kojima has finished working on the series, he confirmed earlier this year that it would return with a different director.
