'Spore' tops the most-pirated list

TorrentFreak analysed data from peer-to-peer file sharing protocol Bit Torrent to compile the roster of this year's most frequently pirated PC games.
Will Wright's Spore has been illegally downloaded 1.7 million times, which beat fellow EA title The Sims 2 into second place with 1.15 million.
The top three is completed by Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed, which has been illicitly downloaded 1.07 million time since its release a year ago.
The full list runs as follows:
1. Spore (1.7 million)
2. The Sims 2 (1.15 million)
3. Assassin's Creed (1.07 million)
4. Crysis (940,000)
5. Command & Conquer 3 (860,000)
6. Call Of Duty 4 (830,000)
7. GTA San Andreas (740,000)
8. Fallout 3 (645,000)
9. Far Cry 2 (585,000)
10. Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 (470,000)
