Lips developer Inis previously stated that due to compatibility issues, the wireless microphone will not currently work with games from the Guitar Hero or Rock Band franchises.
However, Harmonix and MTV Games have revealed that they are "working together to ensure that consumers will be able to use the wireless mics from Lips with Rock Band 2 after launch".
The two companies also indicated that specific availability timings for the patch are to follow soon.
