Zavvi selling 360s for under £100

High Street retailer Zavvi has cut the price of the PS3 and Xbox 360, with the latter selling for less than £100.

The sale, which is expected to run until Christmas Day, sees the Xbox 360 Arcade SKU reduced to £99.99, the 20GB model reduced to £129.99, the Premium cut to £149.99 and the Elite retailing at £199.99.

The PS3 has also received a price cut, with the console now selling for £269.99, a saving of £30.

A Zavvi spokesperson told MCV: "Our organisation believes in giving our customers the best deal and service. We've put in place some great offers on Xbox hardware, giving customers the best value possible in the run up to Xmas."

With only nine shopping days until Christmas, the last-minute console sale has led some to speculate that there could be a High Street price war.
