'Chinatown Wars' gets March release date

Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be released for the Nintendo DS in March.

The handheld exclusive, which is developed by Rockstar Leeds, will be released in North America on March 17 and Europe on March 20.

Chinatown Wars utilises a top-down view similar to that used in the PSOne titles and will reportedly feature a large portion of the Liberty City map as well as touch screen controls.

Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser said: "We are incredibly excited to share this enormous and uncompromising Grand Theft Auto experience with DS fans."
