'Metal Gear Solid' announced for iPhone

Metal Gear Solid Touch will be set in the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots universe, featuring characters and settings from the PS3 title.
The game, which will be controlled entirely through the touch screen, will feature eight stages and downloadable wallpapers, according to 1Up.
Earlier this month this next iteration was teased on a Konami flash site, with reports suggesting it was a Xbox 360 title.
Konami also announced three other games for the iPod platform - Frogger, Silent Hill and Dance Dance Revolution.
