360 'leads PS3 by 1m units in Europe'
New sales figures have revealed that the PlayStation 3 has dropped behind the Xbox 360 by one million units in Western Europe.

The lifetime sales data incorporates October and November sales and covers the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

The figures are different from previous Sony figures which suggested the PS3 was ahead in PAL territories, which also includes Australia.

Price cuts and holiday offers have seen Xbox 360 sales soar in the last few months.
